Key Vocabulary

Absolute Value  --  The distance a number is from zero on a number line

Rational Numbers  --  Any real number that can be written as a ratio of two integers, 

                                        a/b where b is not 0.

Integers  --  The positive and negative version of a whole number or zero.

Reciprocal  --  Any non zero fraction (a/b, st interchange the numerator and denominator)

Language is King

Without knowing the language of math you are handicapping yourself in your ability to understand math to its fullest. Think what happens when you over hear people talking in a foreign language that you do not understand.  What do you do? If your like me, you tune them out because you do not understand.
